This stainless steel mandrel is used for making lampwork beads for the Regaliz Leather. It is 10 x 6mm and approx. 2" long. The total length of the mandrel is 12". The cost is for 1 mandrel.
Save some money and bundle your mandrels. Get the package of 5 mandrels for $80. Thats a $10 savings!

Regarding getting beads off the mandrels, I use Foster Fire bead release. After annealing and cooling, I put the mandrels in warm water for 15-20 min. so that I don't accidentally inhale any bead release particles. Then just jiggle the bead under water to the right and left perpendicular to the mandrel. Good luck.

The mandrels are really good quality, but even with really thin bead release the holes are much bigger than the 'regaliz' leather.. I think they should be a bit smaller as you can always grind them bigger but there is no way to make the finished bead smaller.
