These sheers do the trick with cutting through the stainless steel mesh used for bracelets or necklaces. I recommend them very much. They are very efficient and give a clean, sharp cut. Watch that the shavings do not stick to your magnets, because they love to cling to your clasp magnet, in the space around your magnet. So watch for it. I recommend cutting the mesh, sweeping away the shavings, and then bringing out your clasp to try it on for fittings. I had wondered why my clasp wasn't shutting, and looked very carefully at it, and then saw the shavings clinging around.
